The 15th Century medieval castle, gardens and parkland located between Hereford and Leominster, signed from the A49. It is approximately 30 minutes away from The Cabin. We had another lovely family day out at the end of the school holidays. So much to see and do, we have explored the gardens, yew maze and a walk along the river Lugg (including swings in the oak tree and a zip wire). We are yet to explore inside the castle, but it is on the ‘to do’ list. It’s one of those places that we all love to go. Well worth a visit, and in our humble opinion repeat visits, as there are often activities for children to partake in, and always seasonal interest in the gardens and grounds. Just thinking about it makes me smile!
