The Cabin Ludlow

Self Catering Accommodationat Oaklands Farm

We are approaching the summer solstice, the sun is shining and the plants are green and lush. We have started hay making and hope the cows enjoy a few bales of lush June hay in the depths of winter. Some fields we do not mow yet because of the wildflowers, we wait until mid July for the flowers to set their seed. Walking through one such field I noted a number of ragged robins, bugles, red clover flowering beautifully, to name just a few. I thought I would share these with you.
